Freebie: Black and White (With Movie Quotes)

February 28, 2016
This is my first freebie and I’m kinda nervous about it. I actually ran out of sticker kits to design my first week of March spread that’s why I opted to go for a movie theme and create a set of sticker printables. The reason why this is in black and white is because currently, I only have a monochrome printer. Well, let me know if you liked it!

TPJ Shop Feature: Filofax Domino

February 25, 2016

Welcome to my first ever shop feature! I’m planning to make it as a monthly segment for me to feature shops that you can visit for your planner needs! For this month, I’d love to talk to you about Filofax Domino (or commonly known as @chrisella09 on IG).

When I bought my first planner, I already got paranoid how I can keep it safe from dirt as I carry it around wherever I want to. Let’s face it, a lady’s bag contains a lot of things that may actually “cause harm” to our beloved planners. To be honest, I have actually forgotten (already!!! gosh, I’m old) how I came by her shop. But I believe it was either when someone posted they bought planner pouches from her or when I followed a thread talking about where to buy planner pouches. And I’m thankful I was led her way.

Before, I actually used my Louis Vuitton dust bag to protect my Phasma but it was such a hassle for me since I had to fold the sides of it for it to fit in my bag. So you can only imagine the relief I felt when I got these!

I actually ordered five items from her: two planner pouches (one pocket size, one personal size), two  zipped purses (pocket size), and one planner pocket (personal size).

For Padme’s planner pouch, I love that it fits perfectly even with a bit of allowance. So when she’s extra chunky, she can still fit in it. I actually chose it and the purses to be in gold polka dots just to go with the color of my Padme.

The main purpose why I bought these lovely zipped purses is because my Padme is something that I want to use as a wallet. Now, unlike other Filofax products with zippers on the top, a Filofax Saffiano has none so you to have improvise.
For my personal size Phasma, I chose a different design. I was actually planning to buy a fabric design same as her color but I just didn’t fancy other designs aside from this. It’s mint green (I think lol) with little flowers all over it. Miss Chris Ella asked me what brand my personal planner because a Webster’s Pages Color Crush Planner is slightly longer than others.
I also got this pocket for random things I want to insert (currently, that’s my payslip and a random list I created). This helps me a lot in putting all those random things I want to insert in my planner to be in one place. I once lost an important sheet of paper because I just inserted it in here somewhere.

I ordered all these last January 21 and they arrived last February 3. Don’t get me wrong, I had nothing to complain about because first of all, what she’s doing is no joke. Imagine sewing all the pouches, purses, and pockets that a LOT of people order from her? Plus, aside from the pouches, she also sells cardstocks, stickers, dividers, and inserts.

I’m really satisfied with my orders from her and I highly recommend her to any planner girl who’d love to purchase their own!

TPJ Reviews: Paponei’s Gifts February Kit

February 21, 2016
Hello planner junkies! This is my second Paponei’s Gifts planner kit and I’m really excited to share it with you!
First things first, I have to say this out loud: I hated pink before. Now don’t judge me if it’s your favorite color, but it just didn’t work out for me. Upon joining all the planner groups and browsing Pinterest, a few blogs, and Youtube for planner DIYs, tutorials, how tos, and others, I have learned to not hate it but appreciate it instead. BUt it still didn’t really encourage me to buy pink stuff for my planner. But guess what? Paponei’s Gifts February Kit really proved to me that it is indeed pleasing to the eyes (no, I still don’t love it lol, green’s still my fave color).
Now that I’ve written that out in the open, let me show you what was included in the February Kit with the theme Posh Love! Upon opening the box that came in, this was what said hello to me! A box full of love. <3
Curious to know what were included?
I had to take them all out and I was so excited to see them because I felt that my P640 was really, as they say here in the Philippines, sulit! (I’m sorry but that Filofax Saffiano in Gold is not included in the kit. LOL.)

Breaking them all down so that you can see where I use and how I used these Posh Love stuff!
1 Pen Pouch
On the day I took the photo above, I used it as a storage for my colored pens. But recently, I’ve been using it as an on the go storage for my ink pads and acrylic blocks. I love that it’s a bit soft but enough to keep them all safe in my bag.
1 Planner Tassel
My Padme is looking so sleek with this planner tassel! I love that it complements the color of my Filofax Saffiano. It adds a chiq look although I’m not really a girly-girl.
2 Washi Tapes + a freebie!
I love the handwritten black one as much as I love the pink one, too! I’m really loving washi tapes more and more and I’m thankful this kit added three more to my growing collection.
2 Bow Clips and 3 Hearts Wooden Clips
I used the bow clips in the pockets of my planner while the wooden clips in my Instax film thread in my room. I’ve been meaning to buy more wooden clips but since I’ve been paying attention to building and growing my planner stuff collection, I keep on forgetting!
1 Mug Polka Memo
I brought this in the office for note taking purposes on the projects and tasks I work on. It’s nice to write on something not boring because it uplifts your mood and makes you more motivated to work.
1 Happy Day Hearts Pen and 1 Pink Crown Pen in Black
I love adding more pens to my collection so these two pens are really appreciated. I actually used ’em both for the week where I used most of the things from this month’s kit.
1 Checklist Memo
I also brought this in the office for days usually when we have a lot of meetings and to help me keep track of the things I need to do for the day. I also gave a few pages to my office seatmate as I know that his schedule is pretty hectic (yeah, he doesn’t mind the pink in the memo pad!).
Hearts Point Marker
I was able to use this point marker only once for the weekly spread but I deem it’ll be abused in the months (and probably years) to come. I actually hoard this stuff, too!
1 Dashboard and 2 Note Cards
I used this dashboard for the week of February 6 – February 14. I chose to keep it simple though and didn’t add any other embellishments. As for the note cards, I’m keeping them safe for future use!
4 Masking Sticker Sheets
1 Envelope and 1 Notes Memo Pad

I used one of the masking sticker sheets in my weekly spread and kept the rest of it including the envelope for designing DIYs or others in the next few weeks. My Notes memo pad are most definitely abused in the office!

1 Tab Stickers and 1 Ephemera Stickers
I haven’t touched my tab stickers yet but I’m planning to use them in fully setting up my Padme but I haven’t really figured out how though. My Ephemera stickers suffered a totally opposite fate though. I basically abused it and only a few remained in the sheet!
Here’s how I set-up my week using the kit:
As usual, I’m stoked for the March Kit! Here are a few sneak peeks grabbed from their Instagram Page!

Got to get my hands on these succulents!!! Comment down if you also ordered the Paponei’s February Kit. I would love to see how you used it!

TPJ Reviews: Noted Journal PH’s Notedori

February 16, 2016
As a planner novice, I can’t help but explore other possibilities on how I can be more productive and plan better. Currently, I have four planners (which I’ll be posting about in length soon) and as of now, I think those four are able to prove their purposes well. But because of the active planner and journal community here in the Philippines especially in the groups I belong to on Facebook, I stumbled upon Noted Journal PH and they were so kind to give me my first ever Traveler’s Notebook from them, my Notedori!
I still haven’t thought of any name that I can give it (yes, I’m wired and weird that way) but I instantly fell in love with it the first time I got hold of it! And because I love letting people know how the items I order or get sent to are and I’d love to babble about my Notedori, here’s my review!
I already blogged about Noted Journal PH on my main blog so for on overview, head on over to that post!
Cover
As I said earlier, this is my first ever TN so I don’t really know how or what it’s supposed to be or feel (I have this weird habit of “feeling” paper products, forgive me) but I love the texture of the leather the Notedori has and the felt underneath it. I got a brown Notedori and it’s perfect for me!
Pen Holder
I love the adjustable pen holder and I can even clip it on the top, side, or bottom of my Notedori. I bet I can even fit two pens here! Works well for a pen lover like me that can’t really settle for just one pen to use in writing.
Elastic
It has one elastic with this cute little camera trinket and it just made my Notedori more loveable. I like how it’s a cute reminder to take more photos even in the most mundane moments.
Mini Notedori
I literally squealed like a little girl when I saw this mini Notedori hanging from this chain. And when I opened it, it has pages I can actually write and doodle on!

Inserts
Currently, my Notedori has two dotted notebook inserts. I’m planning to add a grid and plain one soon so that I can fully use up the space. A Notedori can hold 4 inserts which I think is just about enough to accommodate your writing needs. Well, if it can’t at that, you can always get another one or more!

Overall Verdict
All in all, I’d have to say that I LOVE IT. The Notedori is so handy that I can practically bring it anywhere and anytime I want. To be honest, I haven’t given thought of trying to keep a journal again until now. As I already have my planners, I’m planning to make my Notedori a productivity tracker, journal, and brain dump. Even though I keep two blogs and blurt out things on social media once in a while, there are thoughts and things I’d love to keep private and I prefer writing on paper ever since anyway.
I’m also planning on building my TN collection from them and get one or two passport sized Notedoris for my two blogs. Simply put, that’s how awesome I find their products!
